Can I redeem my card online?

Yes you can. BUT also remember to use the EXPIRY DATE printed ON YOUR CARD. This date may well differ from the date shown on screen. Sorry if this is confusing. Contact us if this isn’t clear.

Can I purchase something for more than the value of my card?

If you want to buy something for more than the value of your gift card, simply ask the cashier to split the payment. Pay for the item by another mean and then request the cashier to deduct the balance from your card. If you try to buy something for more than the value of the card, your card will be rejected.

Can I reload the card later?

No, our gift cards are single use only. We do provide reloadable cards to corporates so please contact us here to discuss.

Can I get funds out from an ATM?

No, sorry! If you could, it wouldn’t be a gift card!

Why is there a limit of load on my gift card?

Based on government legal regulations concerning limitations on gift card purchasing, within a 24 hour periodwe are restricted to load a maximum limit per card (€200). If you buy a card for more than this value, then the load will be given 24 hour period.

The card I have is being declined.

This could be because there is not enough balance on the card. If you want to buy something for more than the balance on the card, simply ask the cashier to take a certain amount from your gift card and pay the remaining balance another way.

My Giffti Card code or PIN does not work.

For security reasons, electronic gift cards are usually sent with a code/pin. If you encounter an error when redeeming your card, this is typically the result of issues with coping and pasting the code. Be sure there are no extra spaces added when entering the code into the retailer’s activation field.

Can I use Electronic Gift Cards in-store?

Absolutely! Most electronic retail gift cards we offer can be used in-store by simply printing out the E gift card and presenting it to the cashier. However, some retailers have special instructions for in-store use. Be sure to double-check how your retailer wants you to use your gift card in store before you go to the store.

When will my Electronic Gift Card arrive?

All orders for electronic gift cards are delivered within one (1) business day, but it may arrive much quicker.

Can I cancel an order or return a Gift Card?

Once an order is fulfilled it cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged for a different retail gift card. Please ensure that your order is correct and the recipient email address is accurate before placing your order.

Can I redeem for cash?

We have hundreds great retail gift cards and many non-profit donations options, but cash is not a redemption option.

In what currency I can buy cards?

Cards can be purchased in the currency displayed at https://giffti.com/redeem-card (GBP, EUR, USD...). However, it is possible to exchange the card for a cards in different currency. All available cards after logging into the REDEEM CARD page are in local currencies. We currently support over 30 currencies. We have implemented the DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) service that works without hidden fees in the background, thanks to which you can exchange gift card with cards in local currency.

A word about denominations

Available denominations are set by each brand, independently. So, depending upon your desired purchase amount, you can easily buy multiple gift cards in a single transaction. However, you will not be permitted to purchase greater than £/€/$ 200 in a single checkout session or a given 24 hour period.

Protect your gift card codes like cash.

We strongly recommend that you apply the same level of security precautions for your gift card as you do to protect your physical wallet, cash and credit cards. If you elect to print your gift card, keep it in your possession and guard it closely at all times. Never give your gift card number and pin over the phone or online, especially to someone you don’t know and trust.

Protect yourself from Unauthorized Use.

Unauthorized use can occur from someone you know - or someone you don’t. When setting up your account, be sure to apply the Two Factor Authentication settings. Your account and password credentials should be safeguarded and protected at all times. If you use a shared computer, extra precautions should be taken.

Perform a balance check.

Beware of scams: Internet and otherwise

Our partners at Amazon.com and Google publish extremely informative and useful information to help expose scams and help consumers avoid them. Government agencies and businesses do not accept Gift Cards as payment toward bills, bail money or debt collection. Be wary of Caller ID. Scammers are savvy enough to manipulate Caller ID so it looks like it’s coming from a legitimate business or government agency.

If you suspect that someone accessed your personal information without your consent or knowledge - and used it to create an account or purchase a gift card, immediately report it to your financial institution and your local law enforcement authorities. Change passwords to your eCommerce accounts and apps.
